B*tch at Fido

So, I recently decided to change my cell phone provider from Telus to Fido.

It was half hour before the mall closed, so Panchito and I pretty much rushed to the mall, cause one of us were REALLY annoyed with the “dropped” calls from Telus (not me). We get to the mall, and walked up to the Fido kioski at about 15 minutes to closing. Our greeting was this – “oh no, why is this happening” by the b*tch whose name we later found out was Jessica. Jessica was busily sorting out the daily sales receipts, and apparently didn’t want any more customers.

So, this is how it pretty much went down: 

Panchito: ”is there a plan for unlimited calls for 6 months”

Jessica: “no, 3 months”

Me: “is it possible to get a plan for 6 months, cause I just spoke with someone from Fido on the phone and they said it could possibly be done (since I still have a 6 months contract with Telus)?”

Jessica: “3 months”

Me: “is it POSSIBLE for 6 months?”

Jessica: “3 months”

No smile, no “I can find out”, no offers for a different plan. Then she just went back to her receipts, while ignoring us completely!

After like 20 seconds of silence and us thinking – what the hell??

Panchito: “well, can you show us something, a plan…?”

While she finds the Fido brochure…

Me: “this is the worst customer service ever!”

Jessica looks at me with hate, and threw the friggin brochure.

Panchito: “don’t throw the thing at me!”

Jessica: “don’t say this is the worst customer service!”

Me: “well, it is!!”

Now, angry, annoyed and pissed off Jessica decided to ignore us once more. Ok, so we’re literally standing like 12 inches in front of her – she is busy attending to the receipts like they were her new born babies in bad need of a pamper change!!

Panchito: “…well, can you show us a plan…?” Noticably trying to control himself.

Jessica: “this is the plan I was telling you about” (the plan she was TELLING us about, you remember, when she said the whole sentence of “3 MONTHS”).

Then she went back to her babies!

At that point we left.

To Jessica, the bitch at Fido – if you’re incapable of smiling, or helping your customers in any way – maybe you should find another job (maybe something that involves sorting paper, in a tiny room all by yourself – just a thought!!). Oh, and by the way, I am still pissed off enough by your behavior to call your manager and complain!

Nothing is more annoying than bad customer service – people, if you don’t like dealing with the public, for shit sakes, don’t get a job that involves any kind of customer service…
